Apple Display Engineer interview questions

Three onsite interviews spread across a month and one take-home test. They don't have the decency to say whether I got the position or not, completely ghosted me (I would have declined anyways). I couldn't have done that bad if they kept having me come in and talk with their employees... Questions were very technical but manageable with diligent studying. Just make sure to study pixel circuit design (a quite esoteric subject for an interview). One of the interviewers was lamenting about how her 1 year on the job is too long and how all her colleagues she started out with left. Not exactly appealing for a prospective employee... The hiring manager was constantly saying how 'you have to be young for this job.' Additionally, the HR lady asked if I was ok spending a third of my time in Asia and indirectly prodding me if to see if I had children. I could see this job would not be advised for those with families.

It started with a group interview. Several other candidates and I were led into a room and sat around a table. An exam booklet was passed out by the interviewer and we were given 30 minutes to complete it. The questions were on various electrical engineering topics and were extremely difficult; I was only able to answer one with confidence. After, the interviewer collected the exam booklets and told us that the exam was intended to be very challenging. We were then interviewed one-on-one by the same guy. During this interview, the interviewer simply brought out your exam booklet and pointed out all your mistakes. He would then give you a hint and sit there and wait for you to try and solve it again. I found it very hard to think while this guy was staring at me, so naturally I didn't do very well.
