I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Got contacted by a recruiter. Had a phone screen with her followed by an interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was like a robot with pre-programmed questions. No expressions came out of her whatsoever. This is the coldest phone screen I've ever had....
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Apple (Sunnyvale, CA) in Jan 2024
Interview
About 6-7 interview rounds.
First with Hiring Manager
Home work to create a presentation and proposal for a project (they give the project definition).
Followed by several team members - some with panel rounds.
They made me wait 4 months, giving me the message that I was the top candidate, until last minute that offered the role to an internal candidate.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Austin, TX) in Sep 2021
Interview
30 minute phone screen then proceeded to a panel interview of 6 30 minute interviews.
While I was not selected I did not get any thing from after the interview. I did not receive a customary notice that they were not interested or moving on with someone else. A Thanks but no thanks would be appreciated.
