I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Apple (London, England) in Apr 2022
Interview
One of the senior HR approached me through Linked In and invited me to apply for their specialist role in the London stores. Once I applied, I got a link to pick the slots to do a phone interview the following week. I picked the last available day on Friday afternoon. The other HR called on time and asked four template questions like a robot. There wasn't mutual communication and she had zero interest in my answers. Even in the last part when I asked questions back to her, she still replied really short. The whole interview only took about 10 minutes. On Sunday midnight at 01:01 UK time, I got a template email saying that they have chosen to move forward with other candidates. The whole experience made me wonder whether I am too bad for this role, or if I am just a random candidate the HR team picked to fulfil their KPI. This might be one of the worst interview experiences I have ever had in my life.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. What is your best interest to work in Apple?
2. What did you do to exceed clients expectations?
3. What is your favourite Apple product and why?
I was interviewed at the tables just outside the store, in the mall. The three questions were, "Why do you want to work at Apple," then, "Tell me about a time when a result exceeded your expectations," and "How do you prefer to work, alone or in a group?" It was not very difficult, but I didn't get the role.
