Interview
I had a friend who had a positive experience with AppleOne, and he suggested I fill out a general online application. About one day later, I was contacted by a local recruiter who was trying to fill an entry level call center sales position. It was very clear from the information that I put on the application that I have over 15 years of experience in customer service and leadership, and I was only looking for a senior position. I don't think the recruiter even read my whole application, and she was just calling to fill an order. She probably pulled my information by doing a search for customer service keywords. What a waste of time! I tried to end the conversation as quickly and politely as possible, but she kept insisting that the company had great "growth" potential and that I would be the perfect candidate, even though the rate of pay was at least $15/hour lower than my minimum requirement. I had a tough time getting her off the phone - she was very pushy and bordering on disrespectful. Later I tried to get online and remove my information, but I couldn't. Very disappointed - professionals, do not use this service!
