Very informal interview process. Brought in my application and had the interview right away and it lasted about 10-15 minutes and got the job before I left. You took a personality quiz.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Went over customer service questions and how often you miss work, tell me about a time you were late, questions like that.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applebee's (Bensalem, PA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Brought in for multiple interviews. Given conflicting information on whether I had the job or not. Given run around on phone then finally never contacted again. Managers are 30+ minutes late for interviews. The hiring manager was the most unprofessional of them all.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Asked about previous work experience and why I felt I was best for the position.
This was a pretty easy interview process. I was asked if I had ever dealt with difficult people and to say what was my motivation for wanting to work at Applebees. It was overall very chill and I enjoyed it.
It was very simple, on the Applebee's web site, I selected a place and position. Answered about 5 mostly contact related questions and then selected a time for a 1st interview. I think they mostly wanted to see that I was early, dressed nicely (but I didn't wear a tie), and had a pleasant personality via a smile and firm handshake. I was called back for 2nd interview. I am currently waiting to hear back, but think I got the job.
