I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Composites (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Applied online. Was ignored for weeks. Then a 10 month tenure hr recruiter reached out to me. Bland email. Asked me a bunch of questions through email. They don't want to waste their time but wasting a candidates time is ok.
Got ghosted for 3 weeks.
Turns out this company has a high turnover rate.
Was asked to speak with director of engineering. He was super boring and you could tell he had never interviewed before anyone else. Basically asked me to repeat my resume for him. Waste of my time. I asked what attracted him to the company and ask he said was because he has experience in composites. Not benefits. Not company culture. Not exciting tech.

He was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. The questions were mainly asking details from my resume and previous job experience.
