The Interview Process lasted approximately two and a half months with three rounds of interviews. I applied for the position after finding it on LinkedIn. After sending in my application there was a few weeks in between my submission and recieving an email asking to schedule a phone call for an initial screener interview. The interview was with a person from HR and lasted about 20 minutes. After that, I had a webcam interview with several managers at the same time. This interview was a little frustrating because the managers didn't check beforehand to make sure the room had a webcam. A few days later I was told that the company wanted five references(three from coworkers and two from supervisors) before they made a decision about my application. This involved sending out links to people asking them to fill out a short survey through a third party. (Note to HR: with seemingly more and more companies not providing references, you may want to consider scrapping this or finding an alternative). After getting my five references submitted, there was a 2-3 week period before I was told I was moving on in the process. At that point, there was another webcam interview this time with two managers and two team members. Compared to the first interview, this interview was much more about getting to know me as an individual and I'm assuming to judge how well I would mesh with the team. Two weeks after that interview, I recieved a call from the person who had initially screened me to let me know the team had given offers to candidates who fit better technically with the team or something along those lines. I was told that my application would be considered for a possible opening in the near future. The person seemed sincere about this so while it may be naive on my part, I think they actually meant it. Overall, while the news was not great, I did think the experience was pretty positive. My points of contact were quick to respond to any of my emails, the company was fairly punctual with updating me on my status, and apart from the issue with the webcam, the interviews themselves were fairly positive experiences.

Had a 30-minute phone interview with the recruiter and did second on-site interview with three interviewers. Had a 30-minute site tour and an hour interview during the second on-site interview at Rancho Santa Magarita.
