I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Medical in Sep 2013
Interview
Received a phone call regarding my online application. Led to an immediate 45 minute phone interview. The interviewer was polite and asked the normal range of questions. From my understanding, Applied keeps its reqs open all the time, looking for new grads to hire. The face to face interview was a week later which went very well. It was a group interview and the questions came fast so it was tough until you settle into a rhythm. I highly recommend bringing samples of work on a flash drive to show in the conference room. Blow them away with all of your cool Solidworks models. Otherwise a brief powerpoint with a lot of visuals might help you out a bunch too. The tour following was cool. There were a lot of opportunities to learn which was definite plus for me.
