The interview process was pretty standard in that it went from initial phone screen > technical phone screen > coding challenge.
If you read through the review of the company you'll notice how often vagueness is mentioned. This was the case with the interviews as well. Everyone in each interview seemed warm and welcoming, but neither the questions nor answers were anything other than extremely broad.
Compared to other companies, Apptegy does not appear to have clearly defined what they are looking for. They have not clearly defined the values that make up their culture. They have not clearly defined a plan for the coming years.
Note that some gray area in a start-up is not the least uncommon, but I've never seen it on such display during an interview.
