I was recruited for my this position. The recruiter reached out to me, I never heard of this company previously. After speaking with the recruiter I thought this could be a great opportunity. It my background perfectly. I have been in the distribution and manufacturing space the past 8 years (from Mid-Market to Enterprise). I just never competed against them based on the size accounts I sell. Here are my top reasons I believe I was choosen to be interviewed at this company. 1. I feel they needed to interview a person of color . 2. They needed to interview a women. My interview with the hiring manager goes extremely well. He tells me I was the most experienced rep they talked too. He wants me to speak to his new manager who was starting a week later. So on my invite for the interview it’s the new manager and the ceo for this meeting. Well only the new manager shows to meeting and doesn’t even come camera. Warning sign right there. I’m on camera, but you can’t bother to be on camera. Very unprofessional. That appears to go well and he was like we won’t drag this out for you will know either way. That was also the tell tell sign they already had someone for the position. It appears this company likes to hire someone with 0 experience, so they can underpay them. I basically had to reach out to the recruiter a few times to get a response on response on next steps. I immediately knew I wasn’t selected. I also figured that, when. The ceo never showed up to the meeting and the manager never turned his camera on. It was a complete waste of my time and energy. After reading the reviews I realized I dodge a bullet. Had I came to Glassdoor first I would’ve never taken the interview. It appears to be no diversity in sales. Unless your a kid out of college I wouldn’t even remotely recommend this position for anyone. They don’t want to hire reps that are assets and have a book of business and active contacts In this space. This company is joke. Be warned my fellow EXPERIENCED industry colleagues. I would recommend NetSuite over this company any day of the week.
