I received a cold call from the recruiters personal cell. I'd just come in from outside and wasn't even to my desk yet. When she introduced herself she mumbled the company name so at first I had no idea who she was or what the call was regarding. Then her main question was why I thought I was a good fit for the job. No intro, no small talk, nothing. I had a rejection email the second I hung up the phone.
