I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Aramark (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2014
Interview
Typical. In conference room with the food service director and the executive chef at the time (before I was actually given the title myself). I got hired swiftly for the grill cook position by the director and Chef. My start date kept being pushed back over about two weeks. Though, once I started, on my first day my director explained to me a possible situation of the current executive chef resigning/not returning from vacation. With this, he so generously offered me an opportunity to grow and learn in the position of executive chef with his guidance. With this company, the real strife of excellence was in the people, my director, not the company itself.
