Received contact from a recruiter (new person) who expressed interest in doing an initial screening call. I agreed and we scheduled a time.
The recruiter called me on time as expected and the call commenced. I was asked some basic questions about my resume and career, as well as what I'm currently doing. My skill set clearly aligned with the JD, which was recognized by the recruiter. Things felt good.
I was told that I seem to be a very good fit and my information would be passed on to the GRC team. I would receive contact within a few days to schedule the next call...and that's where things have gone downhill.
It's unfortunate when a company raves about their culture and how it's the best place to work...but then there are countless reviews stating potential candidates were ghosted. But surely this wouldn't happen to me....ahh, it did, and it sucks. It's incredibly unprofessional and a bad representation of the company and product.
I've reached out to the recruiter in a very professional manner...and nothing.
