The job posting was found on Indeed for an AML Analyst to assist in compliance functions for a new software being produced. I had 2 phone interviews, one with HR and another with one of the company and software owners. I was then brought in for a panel interview of 5 people. The interview panel process appeared to go seamlessly with all the managers providing positive feedback to extend an offer. HR assured me that and offer would be extended. After weeks of receiving several emails from HR telling me that the president needed more info from the hiring managers and company product owner to approve the need for the position to make an offer. The company software owner mysteriously went on vacation for two weeks, after which I was then told he was "sick" while on vacation. About a month and half later HR emails me telling me that the company and software owner had provided the necessary info to the President requested to extend an offer, but were still waiting to hear from the President. About 2 weeks later after receiving several more emails informing me that no update on the offer was available as HR had not heard back from the President, I received an email stating that Argo could not get the offer approved because they were able to get the position itself approved. This type of instability and disorganization is EXACTLY what has been reflected in previous reviews with current and former employees. Argo Data appears to be HIGHLY unorganized and managers/executives fail to communicate effectively. I would NOT recommend applying for or accepting any type of position from this company. Additionally, the Human resources department appears to operate in a manner that is completely INEFFECTIVE. It is my belief in the small amount of time I spent dealing with this company that the bad reviews posted online are 100 Percent ACCURATE.
