I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Arhaus in Aug 2015
Interview
The entire process took just over a week. I applied online, then was called a few days later and had a phone interview with a recruiter (very nice and professional). An interview with the Regional/District Manager was set up for the following week. I arrived at the store for the interview and was greeted by the Regional/District Manager who told me to look around and he would be with me in a few minutes. Then the acting manager came over and introduced herself and conducted the interview -- while the District Manager (within eye sight of me) conducted an interview with another candidate for the same position. It was very odd and completely unprofessional. I thought maybe when I was done speaking with the acting manager, then I would go over and talk with the Regional/District Manager (while the other candidate came over and spoke with my interviewer). But that was not the case; when I was done speaking with the acting manager, I was told that the next step would be an in-person interview with a recruiter, then an interview with the Regional/District Manager. The highlight for me was being interviewed in the middle of the store and at one point I had to move so a customer could look at the sofa I was sitting on. I left thinking I didn't want to work for them, but also not surprised at the poor treatment since their Glassdoor ratings were so low.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arhaus (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2011
Interview
was unlike anything i have ever gone through. the entire time i felt i was being lied to. they did nothing but backstab everyone who used to manage for them. as if they didnt like any former or current employee. VERY high school
