Applied online, about 2 weeks later I got an email about a "meet and greet" which was only to be about 5 minutes. There were multiple locations I was able to go to, I had to pick one and select a time to meet with the recruiter. The email said to wear what I would wear if I was working on the sales floor. I arrived wearing Aritzia from head to toe, unsure if this made an impression on the recruiter. I sat in the lounge area. I waited about 5 minutes before the recruiter came out. She asked for my resume, and told me that anyone who applies online gets an email about the meet and greet because Aritzia knows that everyone is more than just a resume, so doing the meet and greet gives them the opportunity to get to know us better. She glanced at my resume and began to ask me questions, she had to keep looking over at my resume to remember my previous employments.. I took it as she didn't really care if she couldn't remember after glancing at my resume so many times. I was pretty nervous during the interview, the other SAs were around walking back and forth. I not only felt like I was being judged by the recruiter, but also the other SAs. Overall, the interview was pretty easy. When I was done she told me about the June clientele, which is an event for their top customers and they receive huge markdowns on items, so there is a huge influx of customers and they would need more employees to help out. She asked if I was interested in that, and I agreed. She told me I would hear back within the next few days. After 4 days, I got an email where I had to submit my info, and I would receive an email back pertaining to my shifts. She did not mention to me that it would be a seasonal position (June-August), and that shifts would be outside of normal mall hours (6AM-11AM or 9PM-12AM). That information would have been nice prior to accepting my offer.
