Interview
I had an interview with a hiring manager at the Scarborough Town Centre Aritzia, but it was a general interview, not specific to that location. I told them which location I was interested in. Arriving at the store, I saw an interview taking place in the sitting area, so I hovered a bit and looked at clothes. I guess I hovered too far, because suddenly another person was being interviewed. So I stayed closer this time to ensure I was next in line. She was very friendly and down-to-earth. She asked what I was studying at school, and asked why I was interested in Aritzia. She made me feel comfortable, and the interviewed flowed almost like a conversation. I don't remember everything she asked. Nonetheless, I didn't end up getting any job, probably because I was too nervous during the interview. Or perhaps it is that I didn't fit there "typical" look, as I have read in other reviews. I felt I presented myself well. I wore an aritzia top and pants, with an H&M trench that the interviewer actually complemented me on.
Had to go to a location for in-person interview (meet and greet).The interview process was very quick and straightforward. After applying, I received an email invitation to schedule a 15-minute in-person "Meet and Greet" with the talent acquisition team. They provide a self-serve booking link to choose your own time slot, but you have to act fast because they fill up quickly. The evening before the interview, they send a helpful reminder email that includes specific arrival and building security instructions. They also make it clear that if you've already attended a recent hiring event at one of their boutiques, you don't need to attend this one.
