As soon as I applied, the very evening I got an email saying to meet for the interview, but the only time that was available was the next morning. Literally no other day, but the next day. I went to the mall for my interview, walked into aritzia, asked one of the workers where I am supposed to go, and she told me that it was the other store that sells exclusively Wilfred. I went there, which is in the complete opposite direction so it took me a good five mins to reach there making me just on time for the meet and greet. When I arrived they told me to be seating at this very tiny bean bag chair, making it so difficult to even get up to shake the interviewers hand (did not end up shaking hands lol). After waiting for 5ish mins she came and we got acquainted. I thought we hit it off. I was nervous because aritzia is literally the only store I truly love & know the catalog like the back of my hand. But me and interviewer actually had a really nice interview, like I could’ve seen myself being friends with her. Except for the fact that she herself seemed a bit awkward - seemed like it was her first time recruiting. But, still, I thought we hit it off. She told me I’d found out if I got the job that same day. I never got an email. I thought maybe I’ll wait. So I sent her an email. I got no response, even on myworkday it kept showing that my application is under review. So JUST TODAY, I log into myworkday and find out I didn’t get it. Time wasted. My week is ruined. The only brand I have ever truly loved turned out to be the most unprofessional and annoying places I have ever interviewed at. I expected so much more for a brand that I spent thousands of dollars on per year. Excruciatingly disappointed. Do better aritzia.
