The interview with talent acquisition went phenomenally well. I was then sent over to a merchandising manager to interview again. Everything seemed to be going well, being told I have so much experience and that I know so much about the industry... and then I was told I would have to start as a stock room worker, just because this manager had to start as one too. I was completely bamboozled , clearly this manager was intimidated and had the "I suffered and you have to as well" mindset. All this over an entry-level visual position... insane. I'm glad I got to know that's how things are done there before having to learn the hard way. Now I can work as a lead visual manager for another company that values my experience.
