Looked for application info online (Writing Programs/English Department website), and submitted a letter of application and a current resume/CV. I was sent a letter to apply with my notification that I had been accepted to the PhD Program in English. I was notified by email a few weeks after submitting my application that I was accepted into the TA position, which would come with a full stipend for a tuition waiver. Awesome!! It also necessitated that I move to AZ about a month earlier than anticipated to attend a three-week intensive "boot camp" training with about 20-25 fellow new TAs.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Arizona State University (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2015
Interview
Email interview. I submitted my application package 4 months ahead of the deadline. A few days after that I received a letter from the director of this program saying they are interested in my background. However, due to limited funding, there was no guarantee whether I would be accepted. After a long waiting, I finally received their offer. My professor texted my about the decision.
