I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arnel Management (Costa Mesa, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Went to a few interviews at their corporate office, which is really nice and right across from South Coast Plaza. All the women there seemed like the typical Orange County female, really attractive, kind of fake in personality. You can tell that company tends to hire those who are easy on the eyes, especially for a sales position. Each interview was pretty generic, talked about previous work experience and why I'd want to be a leasing consultant.

Interview
Interviewed with a recruiter named Nikki . Interview went great and I decided to go to the second and third interview despite the terrible reviews on the company ... big mistake . They asked me to do a secret shop and basically review their properties for them ... another red flag . The secret shop went terrible the serivece was horrible . After second interview I was told they would call me for a third interview then finally after a week they over nighted me a letter telling me I didn't get the job . These people are using potential candidates to review their properties ! Interviewed with another apartment complex team and they thought the whole thing was crazy !
