Initial phone interview with in house recruiter. Next was an onsite interview with the VP of IT and the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed to have no idea what was actually posted for the job description, qualifications, duties and responsibilities. He admitted so much in the interview when I asked. The job was advertised as a generalist position when in fact it was a very granular specialist position. End result was being told that I didn't have enough of what they were looking for. Ended up getting contacted by the internal recruiter four (4) times, and several recruiting firms afterwards over a six (6) month period for the same job.
