The interview started off relatively normal, but it quickly spiraled into one of the most bizarre and uncomfortable experiences I’ve ever had. A couple of the managers clearly went out of their way to be as condescending and disrespectful as possible during the interview, and for no reason! I’ve read horror stories online about nightmare interviews, the kind that sound too ridiculous to be true. Well, this was one of those, and I lived through it.
From the moment I began speaking, I was relentlessly nitpicked and outright insulted. For a full hour, I sat there being told things like “your presentation is terrible,” “your research makes no sense,” and “you talk too fast.” It wasn’t constructive criticism. The managers who were interviewing me were being oddly petty and completely unprofessional. Also, I just want to be clear that I have never even met these people in my life! Why go out of your way to make your potential employee/coworker uncomfortable? There was zero interest in actually getting to know me or my work, and it felt more like an ambush than an interview.
Looking back, I should have just stood up and walked out the moment they crossed the line. No job is worth that kind of treatment. Honestly? I should’ve trusted the reviews I read online. The red flags were all there, and I could tell when I was being interviewed in person. There’s a reason this place has so many negative comments, and after my experience, I can say they’re 100% justified. If you're thinking of applying here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I didn't get the job, but I am so thankful for that because I can tell how draining life would be when I have to deal with this kind of treatment 8 hours a day.
