The recruiter reached out and we scheduled a phone conversation where she outlined the job, duties, benefits, etc. She asked basic questions about my experience and was very informative about the interview process.
After that conversation I scheduled an hour interview where 30 mins was a math test and 30 minutes for a review of the test with a team member. I found the test to be very advanced for K-2 and during my review the interviewer was very kind and straightforward. I felt I did well on the test itself and answered his questions to the best of my ability.
About 2 days later I received an email from the recruiter letting me know they're going to pursue other candidates. I was bummed, for sure, considering I felt I did well up until then. Still don't know what I did wrong or why I wasn't any longer a consideration. It would have been helpful as I continue to pursue other curriculum development positions with other companies.
Overall, I had a positive experience. Just didn't know why I didn't make it to the next round - considering the compliments about my experience and work sample I provided with my resume.
