The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Initial technical phone screen, this interviewer was super nice. Then onsite full day of technical interviews, not much focus on cultural fit. They send you the interviewers notes as feedback which revealed some concerns. One of my interviewers had multiple counts of blatantly false information, he even left out my final solution to a technical problem. It became obvious he had already made a decision before the interview began, probably ageism or racism.
Lots of strong subjective adjectives in the notes they take, does not feel data driven.
They subtract points for exploring sub-optimal solutions first and don't appreciate iterative problem solving, expectation seems to be to go straight to a single particular solution without considering alternative approaches. Culture seems cliquey and exclusive, no data to back that up, just a feeling.
The candidates you don't like are not as dumb as you might think, they are taking notes too and when yours are misrepresentative, your bias becomes obvious.
As of now, just completed the first call with a recruiter, will update as it will go on, no idea how it will go, the recruiter was very nice, asked how much salary I expect and when can I start

Question 1
"Tell me about yourself and walk me through your background."
"Why are you interested in this position and our company?"
"What are your salary expectations?"
"What's your notice period, and when would you be available to start?"
HR intro call was typical questions about resume, experience, and goal fit. I didn't get pass this round of the process unfortunately. Seemed like it was a formality call since I had a referral.
