      Interview

What a mess from top to bottom. The recruiter seemed like she had no idea what she was doing and just wanted to go on vacation. The hiring manager was completely out of line and full of herself. She decided to give me feedback after my interview with her on the phone which I welcomed but felt odd given that it was just an initial interview. I then did a presentation where I spent a lot of time and when I got there, the key person, the creative director showed up 10 mins late which shortened the time I had. Then the recruiter scheduled another 30 mins with the hiring manager which usually happens after the entire day is over so this was really awkward bc she then decided to give me feedback again like on things that I did not have in my presentation. Except it was in there and she wasn't paying attention. She also said that I wasn't able to "read the room". Um, ok. All in all, complete waste of time and I only liked one of the designers I had lunch with there. Seems like they're just in it for the stock, the people seemed miserable esp the hiring manager. They had no assessment of my experience. Truly a startup where they have no idea how to run an actual business.
