      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2022

      Interview

It was a mindful + kind interview process. Everyone asked if I needed a minute on my back-to-back sessions. I absolutely felt the human care throughout the process. I needed to reschedule my first interview and it was a fast process. The presentation was challenging but 100% manageable. The team was really helpful w/ providing helpful tips and availability for questions to help me be successful w/ my presentation. I also loved that time was built in at the end to share my reflections on how it went. Of course, these mock scenarios never go 100% the way you want when you're role-playing, but it was fantastic getting to demonstrate self awareness in the debrief time. I've done many mock presentations for CSM roles where you're met w/ a cold "Thanks, we'll get back to you," and this was a breath of fresh air. Good mix of cross-functional partners I got to meet w/

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Asana

      Interview

Ok overall. The Team I met were business like, but friendly. The content and material that was shared was also well organised I was originally approached by an internal Recruiter who outlined the process, fit, package, as well as broad timelines which was consistent with my experience There was however a significant drop off of engagement following the final presentation, which is disappointing given the time invested. Particularly given Asana's focus on transparency as this directly contradicted what I had been told in writing, and verbally. I also wasn't provided the opportunity for feedback until I reached out directly The other negative was that the Hiring Manager seemed distracted and nervous in our 1-1, and actually cut me off several times, at one point raising her finger in the air whilst doing so - which felt highly patronising. The reason given was that builders were visiting. This is understandable to a point, but doesn't justify rudeness
