I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (San Francisco, CA) in May 2022
Interview
I applied on line and a recruiter responded to me within a week.
The conversation with the recruiter was great - she was very open about how the search was looking and what were next steps. I then spoke to the HM's manager. That interview was pleasant and we got to speak directly about the role/what they need to really improve ops at Asana.
The next phase was a panel interview with 3 people back to back. This was where it was a little strange. They each had 3 questions they had to ask (situational). You weren't allowed to repeat examples between interviewers. Since the interviews were so short, the time was spent solely on these questions. They did not give enough time to go over my background or allow me to ask any questions about the company. It felt very robotic. Not a very enjoyable experience.

Give me an example where a project started going off track and you found a solution.
I had an initial recruiter call set up that I prepared for as the role I had gotten the interview for sounded particularly exciting to me. The recruiter was really nice and friendly but our conversation lasted less than 10mn because, when asked about my experience, the recruiter realised I was lacking a specific pre-requisite that wasn't mentioned at all in the job description, leading me to believe I was qualified to apply. I pointed this out to the recruiter and they apologised.
I would love a chance to apply for a similar role at Asana again but I'm giving this experience a negative rating because it was quite disappointing not to get a chance to demonstrate my skills and interest for the role despite having spent time preparing and being excited about the opportunity...
