I went through 7 rounds and was told I had the job, then had a last minute new hire do the ‘final meet and greet’ and was then told they were no longer interested.
A very kind and enthusiastic recruiter reached out,and set up a screening interview the next day. He was happy to push me forward. I was scheduled for an interview for the next round 2 days later. Waiting on the call for 25 minutes... I emailed hoping everyone was okay and that I was happy to reschedule. 2 days later I receive an email back that says sorry we've narrowed down our candidates. Completely unprofessional to take my time, not give the opportunity, then to say we have better. Please be more mindful of other's time.
