There were two rounds of algorithm questions + object-oriented design and a 4-hour final round interview that was more of the same. All technical questions. There was a time to ask an employee questions that did not get factored into the process.

Question 1
general coding, no algorithms, object oriented design
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Asana (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
They sent me a 3-question CodeSignal that was pretty easy (passed all three test cases within half the time allotted). The recruiter was out of the office for two weeks and there was a pause in communication. Then I was notified that there were no more spots available for the office I was interested in, but I communicated that I was willing to interview for other locations. From there, they took another week and a half to schedule a follow-up interview and would cycle me through recruiters to "reschedule" and give them new availabilities. I'd leave a few days open for interviews and then would get ghosted. The process would repeat, with another recruiter reaching out and asking me to schedule an interview. Eventually, after the last email asking me for new availabilities, they emailed me saying they ran out of positions available.

Question 1
3 on codesignal! Easy Leetcode string manipulation questions.
Took CodeSignal then went on for phone interview. Overall, very smooth process and the recruiters/interviewers seemed supportive. Did not end up getting an offer since I interviewed pretty late and it seems like they already filled up all their positions.
