Asana Software Engineer interview questions

Typical recruiter screen followed by tech screen and a very long virtual onsite. All-in-all it was about 10 hours total (30 mins recruiter screen, 1 hour tech screen, whopping 8 hours onsite). After completing, I was given a verbal offer and then told the role was filled. I wondered if the role had been filled prior to the onsite round given some of the interviewers' comments. Considering how long the onsite round is, I wish I had some of the time back if the role had been filled (or close to filled).

There was an online assessment before moving on to a technical round with one of the engineers. Pretty standard technical round that included a LC style question a design question.
