Interview
I applied through a recruiter. After an initial round , I was scheduled for a Skype interview. There were 3 interviewers sitting on the other end but most of the questions were asked by two of them. The third one did not ask any questions. Overall the experience was good. They started the interview with some general talk (which included traffic and weather in Boston :) ). Then, they told me about the project and the technologies used in that project and their expectations. Most of the technical questions asked were open ended which led to discussions. One question, for instance, was what problems did you face when using Knockout.js in your last project. The interview lasted for about 45 mins.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
lot of questions about knockout.js as the project was using it extensively.
database questions mostly related to performance tuning etc. dynamic sql, upsides and downsides of linq, Stored procs etc etc. I do not remember the exact questions but I think you get the idea..
I applied online. I interviewed at Ascend Learning (Leawood, KS) in Feb 2014
Interview
Quick and very friendly. Knowledgeable technical interview with very interactive interviewers. Initial interview was by phone, secondary was resume review and technical skills. Seemed more like a conversation than an actual interview!
