Started with a recruiter screening, followed by a lengthy hiring manager interview that went deeply into university background, career path, and decision-making process throughout each stage. The next step involved another meeting with a mock demo, live feedback, and then re-doing the demo again within the same call based on that feedback. Overall, the process was extremely thorough and heavily focused on coachability, adaptability, and demo skills. The expectations for product fluency and live demo performance were very high, especially given the limited guidance provided beforehand on what specific competencies or scoring criteria were being evaluated. I think it would be beneficial for candidates to receive a clearer rubric or demo scorecard in advance, similar to what many other companies provide, to better understand what “good” looks like and prepare accordingly. I found it difficult to gauge the level of depth and structure expected going into the exercise.

First round HR screen, the second round was a small take home writing project (write an inbound and outbound email) as well as a hiring manager interview. The hiring manager interview style was a detailed walk through of my history, dating back to college. They try to get a sense of character and how you make decisions. Horrible! Sent me red flags from the first interview and I should have listened to my gut and stopped there. The recruiter interview was immature and unprofessional. They wanted to move me forward and sent me a written assignment to complete before the interview with the hiring manager. It had several links and took me down so many unnecessary reads that made the process far longer than necessary. I thought I crushed it - honestly, they're probably using it today! Then the hiring manager interview was bizarre, asked me all about college and felt so impersonal. I have been out of college for over 20 years - who cares why I picked my major!! Talk to me about my career. Then the final interview was so well prepared but took forever because it was not clear, sent me down countless rabbit holes with some conflicting information about the timing of the role play. The interview itself was so like talking to robots, not one thing that made me feel like a human. I did not get the job, which was shocking. I have a proven track record of being incredibly successful in the TA industry. Blessing in discuss. I felt so icky after that final interview and was so torn if I even wanted the job because their software is supposed to make the hiring process better but their own process was the worst I've ever seen. Stay clear.
