My resume and online job profiles clearly show my experience and timeline of work, I was asked about writing in the past couple of months. I explained my resume shows I have not in the last year (Prior family issues that needed attending to, and I have another business I run that is doing well), I wanted a remote position to fill my week, most of my other work is nights and weekends. I have significant experience and education. I was told, sorry you are just not what we are looking for in terms of prior work timeframe. They are the ones who contacted me? I did not even apply for this position. All my information is available in my profile. I did not go further because of this. I understand their requirements.... but as a company, that contacts people to recruit, how did they not even look at my profile/resume, or ask me before setting up an interview? Ehh, waste of time. However, from speaking with other people in the insurance industry that I am close with, this probably wasn't the best spot to go anyway.
