Recruiter was super nice, told me they loved my back ground(years of estimating, licensed, manager experience, multiline experience) and we’re excited to forward me to another interview with director. Met with director and immediately from the first instance I turned on my camera the director was cold, short, and seemed out of touch, arrogant, and uninterested. It seemed maybe someone else was already in mind and I was a schedule fill. Glad I was not offered the position honestly because of how the director was, and THATS who you report to. I explained my managing style was kind, and not “drill sergeant style” but understanding that production needs to me met. I believe there are other ways to motivate/coach your team that will yield a good end result, and your team will respect and feel good about working for the company. After reading reviews of this company, I feel they need a restructure of management, and I don’t even work for them. Luckily, was offered a better position with a different company, with managers that seem to care about you and your team.
