Don't bother. These people either don't know how to hire or are looking for the cheapest possible person to overwork and underpay. First, they cancelled interview and rescheduled it. Second, while my interviewers were nice, they asked to see work that was never asked for in the job requirements, never brought up prior and they just think I could suddenly pull up a random set of design system(s) backend to show them when the work is under an NDA with other clients. The interviewer said I was a good match due to my background of doing the exact kind of work and having experience with a similar company/product, but they chose someone else who had the "requirements" they never stated upfront. They referred me to a similar job at another brand under Aspen called Motto. I interviewed and again, same thing happened. They chose someone else even though they "loved" my work and this was a referral from the other interviewer too – referrals mean nothing now. At my current contract role, a freelance designer joined my team who was previously at Aspen + sub-brands. The person either left due to toxic work culture and/or the company was laying people off. Therefore, I wouldn't bother and I don't recommend.
