I applied online. I interviewed at Aspen Dental (Brookhaven, NY) in Dec 2025
Interview
Interview Experience: The interview itself went really well and felt positive, but the shadowing experience afterward raised concerns. During shadowing, I was left alone at the front desk without guidance, which did not feel appropriate for a candidate observing the role. The tone from the interviewer also felt noticeably different from the interview, much colder and less supportive.
Communication: I was told I would hear back within a week, but several weeks passed without any follow-up or update, even though I tried calling and left a voicemail requesting an update.
Compensation & Schedule: The role involved long workdays, occasional Saturdays, and very limited PTO (approximately one week per year for new hires), which may not suit everyone.

Question 1
Strenghts, Weaknesses, Tell me a time you had to deal with a difficult patient, etc.
Received email to schedule appointment for phone screen. When the day arrived, recruiter did not call. When I reached out, the recruiter stated there was an emergency that caused the delay. Had to reschedule for the following week due to recruiter’s booked calendar. 30 minutes before appointment, recruiter sent an email stating that the position was filled and canceled my appointment.
