I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Aspen Dental (Paducah, KY) in Jun 2011
Interview
I started the interview process in the fall of my senior year of dental school. I was researching Aspen Dental b/c they built an office pretty close to where I was planning on opening my own private office. I poured over their websites and videos and what they had to offer intrigued me. I contacted them about a job they had posted and they directed me to fill out a job application online. Over the next few months, I had several phone interviews and a couple in person interviews. Not alot to them, basically asking me how long it took me to do different procedures and why I wanted to work for them. I felt very comfortable during the process. The interviewers were not dentists, they were managers, and they spoke to me with a great deal of respect and it was almost like I was the interviewer. I made it clear that I was not interested in working for a "doc in a box" and they made it clear that the dentists are in control of the treatment they deem necessary.
