Interview
After the interview I was confident that I won't be continuing with Aspen. However, this was not due to my part as an interviewee rather the part of the interviewer. I'm not sure if It was intentional to try to shy me away from the opportunity, but Brandi's confidence in Aspen's outlook, staff, and employee income was very little to none. I asked "how's the work life balance?" and the answer was rather unmotivating. What I took from it is basically *you work harder, you earn more* I'm not exactly sure if I was intentionally deferred from continuing with Aspen but it's honestly what it felt like. All in all, not a standard interview experience.

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter for an interview after submitting an application. I made it through to an in person interview with what I believe they referred to as a regional manager. I was then contacted the next day letting me know that the current manager decided to stay so they were no longer hiring for that position. It was a very sales oriented interview, and there was significantly less management than the job posting leads you to believe. Hours aren't great and the amount of time off they offer for a management position is significantly less than anything I've been offered in the past. Retail positions offer more time off.
