I recently went through an interview process for a job that I was excited about. The interviews went exceptionally well, and I even made it to the final interview, where I was asked to put a PowerPoint together to present as a final presentation that I was proud of. The company seemed impressed with my work and enthusiasm, and I felt confident I would at least hear something back within a reasonable amount of time. However, after weeks... going on months of waiting to hear about it, I never received any response. It wasn't pleasant to be ghosted after putting so much time and effort into the interview process and taking time off work. It would have been much better if the company had just communicated with me and let me know what was happening. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that left me feeling disheartened, but I'm glad I could see that side of the company now rather than accept an offer and be a part of that type of culture.
