I applied for the position and the next day the CEO contacted me to schedule a video call. We connected via zoom a few days later and discussed the position, responsibilities, my background and the reason why I was open to new opportunities. The conversation I felt went great and, he even mentioned during the call that he was pushing me through next steps and that he was going to have me interview with the CFO. Three weeks went by and I never heard anything back. I messaged him letting him know that I decided to move forward with other opportunities because no update was provided and, he never ever responded.
