I underwent a series of interviews for a position I was genuinely excited about. The process began with a phone interview on June 15th, followed by two video interviews on June 20th and June 30th. Subsequently, I made a considerable effort by traveling from Atlanta to Chattanooga for an in-person interview on July 18th. Despite my commitment and enthusiasm, the communication and follow-up throughout this process have been subpar. I took the initiative to maintain contact with the recruiters, consistently seeking updates on the status of my application. I was met with limited information and sporadic responses. It reached a point where I felt the need to reach out after my in-person interview, only to be informed that the process was pending the green light for a fifth interview. Today, almost three weeks later, my frustration has deepened as I received a text message—yes, a text message—bringing this unprofessional and disheartening experience to a new low. The lack of effective communication, both from the recruiters and the HR team, has made this entire journey one of the worst candidate experiences I have ever encountered.
