Waste of time. Sub par salary offer. Expectation that employees put in excess hours bordering on unnatural. I.e. 55 hours/week for 70% relative salary. Will save face, when requesting expected salary and turn tale and give rejection Contrary to assurance that you made it. Stupid given that it’s all over their lack of ability to provide even average offer figures. Pity
This organization seems to have no issue wasting the interviewee's time. The entire 5+ week process ended with me receiving an automated rejection email and zero explanation or feedback.
Although the interviewers were polite, I continually found *myself* being the one instigating interviews, fixing availability conflicts, and going the extra mile to make their process work. It really felt like I was doing their jobs for them.
A few days after reaching out to me for a phone screen, the recruiter promptly went on a multiple week break without informing me. I was completely ghosted and in-the-dark for multiple days before another recruiter stepped in.
This seems like a very interesting place to work, so I hope they can iron-out this process and offer candidates a better experience.

Question 1
Typical behavioral and resume-based interview questions. Easy to very-easy oral technical questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Astranis (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
I interviewed with HR in October of 2024 and it was not a pleasant experience as they asked me a lot of behavioral questions rather than questions on experience. They also asked me how much I expected in terms of compensation and if I was willing to work a minimum of 55 hrs a week. It sounds like the company wants someone that is very passionate that they can take advantage of.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Astranis (San Francisco, CA) in May 2024
