I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion (Nashville, TN) in Feb 2010
Interview
The initial interview consisted of a phone screen which went very well. When I arrived in person the people who I interviewed with seemed very cold and detached. The interview questions were simple except there was one person who gave immediate negative feedback even before we spoke about my background.

You don't have the experience for this job and so many other candidates do.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Asurion (Taipei) in May 2026
Interview
Got reached out on LinkedIn, HR was friendly and very professional. I got all the details about the position in the first interview with HR. It was more about personal background and motivation. The questions were not too hard to answer. Still waiting for results.

Question 1
What kind of working environment do you work best in?
Very high-level conversation over Zoom; they were vague about exact responsibilities and compensation. Felt like a low-margin, high-pressure, super political, short-term-thinking organization. Probably would not meet with them again without some changes to leadership.
It was easy, and friendly and I learned a lot also throughout the process. The interview was also quite structured and I did not feel worried at all. It is a good experience for me.
