I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion
Interview
Simple, easy interviews. Meeting with recruiter, meeting with HM (asked about automated testing, versioning, source control) then a meeting panel interview with two engineers asked me two leetcodes (One easy and one easy-medium) and some system design. Went into it with no prep, but came out having a lot of fun. I like when companies don't put too much emphasis into leetcode and put more emphasis in gathering actual practical knowledge of the candidate

Interview
Had a call with a recruiter and after that a team wanted to do a round of interviews. The interview process was with a 3rd party that they outsource their tech screens to. I found this incredibly unprofessional and impersonal as interviews are a way for candidates to get a feel for the team they will be working with.
If I am taking time out of my day, your engineer can take an hour out of their day too. This speaks volumes about the culture at this company.
