Phone interview then a zoom interview.
Both were pretty standard conversations about resume and experiences. Was able to ask questions about the role and the company as a whole. Interviewer was personable and facilitated conversation well. Took up the full 30 minutes
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion
Interview
I was recruited through LinkedIn and the initial phone screen took place very quickly with a scheduled phone interview with the hiring manager 1 week later. The manager gave me positive feedback and told me to expect to hear from the recruiter within a week. I followed up with them two days after the week had passed since they had not given me any feedback. It took another 3 days for them to let me know that I was a top candidate and I should expect to hear from the team scheduling me to come in person to Nashville. I followed up 3 more times over the course of a month. The result was that they went with an internal candidate and wouldn't be bringing me in for an in person interview after being told multiple times that I was a top candidate and would definitely be coming to Nashville. This is by far one of the worst recruiting experiences I've had.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Asurion in Dec 2018
Interview
Overall, the interview process was smooth and quick. I applied through Linkedin and was reached out to by a recruiter a little over a week after applying. I had a phone screen with a recuriter and then a few days later had a video interview with the hiring manager. I then completed a mock skills test. I then had an in person interview with 6 team members. Once interviews started the entire process took 4 weeks and this included during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
