I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Athleta (Boston, MA) in Jul 2020
Interview
It was really great! I filled out the (really easy!) application online and got a call following up 2 days later. She said the manager would call me over the weekend. (The store’s open on weekends.) But the manager didn’t, so I called Monday morning to follow up. They were very apologetic that they had forgotten and glad I had called, they asked when I was available for an interview. I went in in person the next day, and met the general manager. The girl interviewing me was running late so I shopped around for a while. When the interviewer arrived she seemed about 21 and was super sweet. The general manager observed the interview and asked a few questions; the actual “interviewer” seemed nervous, I think she was being evaluated on how to interview someone. But it was really nice, we just chatted basically. They told me they need to do a background check and I should hear back in two days. It’s two days tomorrow so I’ll update this when I hear.

Question 1
Tell us about a time when, as a customer, you’ve had a positive retail experience?
It was a very relaxed interview process, for me it was a group interview and the questions asked were very easygoing and focused around the brand. They even gave us an opportunity to build an outfit which was very fun.
