I saw the position online and applied for it via submitting a copy of my CV to a portal. A follow-up email from Atkins confirmed details of the interview and who with. I was given the opportunity to choose an interview date and time. I was given contact to bounce off any questions I had to the lead up of the interview. My interview was over a web call with two people from the team I would be working with. I was given the opportunity to ask questions, post the interview, via phone or email.

The interview went well. They were mainly focused on technical questions related to my field. They also took group discussions. The topic of the meeting was current affairs. The interviewer was very familiar with the subject at hand.

1. Example of a pipeline - How would you design it? How would you look at completing maintenance? Non-Destructive Testing etc.
2. 2 welded steel bars - Shear stress, deformation, plastic region, bending moment etc. Thought it was pretty difficult, I hadn't covered this since college (5 years+), I felt it was a little pressured given the fact if this was an exam I would of revised certain criteria etc.
