I had a deeply frustrating and frankly disappointing experience with Atkins (RMZ, Bengaluru), and it’s something I wouldn’t wish on any serious job seeker.
I went through *three rounds of interviews within a month*. Each round felt positive, and the discussions gave me the impression that the process was moving forward meaningfully. I even received *strong, encouraging feedback from the director*, which made it seem like I was very close to an offer. Naturally, I invested a significant amount of time, energy, and mental bandwidth preparing, attending, and following up.
After the final round, I was left waiting… and waiting… and waiting.
What followed was *two months of complete uncertainty*. There was no proactive communication, no clear updates, and no sense of ownership from the HR team. Every follow-up felt like I was chasing information that should have been communicated transparently in the first place.
After all that time — and after putting me through multiple interview rounds — I was finally told that *the role had been put on hold*. No prior heads-up. No timeline. No accountability. Just a vague closure after weeks of silence — even after the positive feedback I had already received.
This entire process caused unnecessary stress and built false expectations. If a company is unsure about a role, that should be communicated early. If delays are expected, candidates deserve transparency. Stringing someone along for months without clarity — especially after positive feedback — is not just unprofessional, it shows a clear lack of respect for a candidate’s time and effort.
Interviewing is a two-way process. Candidates evaluate companies just as much as companies evaluate candidates. And based on this experience, the hiring process here reflects poor communication, weak coordination, and a disregard for candidate experience.
I walked away with nothing but wasted time and frustration — something that could have easily been avoided with basic professionalism and timely communication.
