Was brought into one of their many eclectic rooms. Every room has an interesting theme ranging from Doctor Sues to full Native American garb. I sat down with the interviewer and she went over my resume and experience. Most of it went fine, but towards the end the interviewer got caught up on what I felt to be an important issue of a "work life balance". I came from a job where I worked 70 - 80hrs a week and had told the interviewer that I wanted to have a career where it was 40 -50hrs. The interviewer seemed to think that that was a weakness. The idea that I wanted my life and a career. I left that part of the interview with a bad taste in my mouth.
I also met with the head developer. He was a very nice person and shared his experience with starting out just like I was. Seemed like a nice person I wouldn't mind working under for hours a week.
At the end they gave me an envelope with about $10 in it for the trouble of gas expense.
